Product Description
SP 0158/01 is the Flovac system's dedicated tubing set, connecting the Flovac canister to the suction machine. Its fittings differ from standard tubing, optimised specifically for the Flovac configuration. Made from medical-grade silicone for biocompatibility and durability.
What This Part Does
The Flovac tubing set is engineered specifically for the Flovac disposable system. It ensures an airtight connection between the canister and machine, with port geometry optimised for the Flovac configuration. Tubing airtightness directly affects suction efficiency — any leak reduces suction power.
Why Standard Tubing Cannot Be Substituted
The Flovac system uses a unique canister port design. Standard tubing (e.g. SP 0045/02) has end fittings that don't match the Flovac canister, and forcing a connection causes poor sealing, air leaks, or canister detachment. CA-MI's technical manual explicitly distinguishes between standard and Flovac tubing configurations.
Compatible Machines
- All CA-MI models supporting the Flovac system
- ASKIR 230/12VBR
- ASKIR 36 BR
- ASKIR 30 PROXIMITY
NOT Compatible With
This tubing set is not for non-Flovac configurations. If using a reusable jar, choose standard tubing SP 0045/02 or SP 0045/05. ATMOS LC27, VACUAIDE 7325P and ACCUVAC series do not use Flovac and are not compatible.
Companion Parts
- Flovac Disposable Liners (needed each use)
- Flovac Canister (reusable container)
- Yellow Connectors SP 0223 (Flovac-specific connection)
Replacement Frequency & Triggers
- Tubing cracked or aged — replace immediately
- Connection no longer firm or audible air leak — replace
- Regular replacement: every 3–6 months (adjust by usage frequency)
- Tubing discoloured or residue visible inside — replace
- Rental equipment return — always replace
FAQ
Not recommended. Flovac tubing ports are designed specifically for the Flovac system with different end fittings. Standard tubing may cause poor sealing and air leaks, directly reducing suction performance.
The set includes connection tubing and compatible port fittings. Exact contents vary by package — contact us for details.
Check for: (1) visible cracks or splits; (2) yellowing or residue inside the tube; (3) loose connections; (4) audible air leak when machine runs. If any of these are present, replace immediately.
Refer to CA-MI's technical documentation for specific sterilisation guidance. Generally, regular replacement is preferred over repeated sterilisation to ensure optimal seal performance.
