Product Description
These low-flow models (ASKIR 230, ASKIR 30 PROXIMITY, ASPIRET) share the same Ø 6/10mm tubing system, so they use the same disposable bag kit. The kit includes disposable collection bags and matching connector fittings. Disposable bags give you a clean collection surface every time, eliminating the need to scrub jar interiors.
What This Part Does
The disposable bag installs inside the collection jar, replacing direct contact with the reusable jar wall. Secretions collect in the bag, which is discarded whole after use. Particularly suited for: rental equipment (fresh bag each return ensures hygiene), care home or clinic shared environments, and scenarios requiring fast turnaround.
Required Companion Parts
The bag kit is typically used alongside:
- CA-MI Bacterial-Hydrophobic Filters (still required even with disposable bags to protect the pump)
- Silicone Tubing Ø 6/10mm (patient-side connection)
- Connectors Ø 8/9/10mm
How to Use
- Open the collection jar lid
- Remove a disposable bag, unfold and seat it inside the jar
- Ensure the bag edge fully covers the jar rim for a proper seal
- Close the lid, confirm all connections are secure
- After use, open the lid and remove the entire bag
- Dispose of per local medical waste regulations
- Install a fresh bag
Replacement Frequency
- Replace after every use (mandatory)
- Cannot be washed or reused
- If the bag tears during use, stop immediately and replace
- Maintain adequate stock to avoid interruptions
FAQ
Yes. These models share the same Ø 6/10mm tubing system, so the bag kits are fully interchangeable.
Yes. Disposable bags are single-use products and must be discarded after each session. This is essential for hygiene and cross-contamination prevention.
Yes. Disposable bags replace the need to clean jar interiors, but bacterial and hydrophobic filters are still required and must be replaced regularly. Filters protect the machine's internal pump regardless of collection method.
Both are disposable collection systems, but the design differs. The Flovac system uses disposable liners inside a dedicated Flovac canister. This kit's bags go directly inside the machine's original collection jar. Compatible models and installation methods differ. Choose the correct system for your configuration.
